Rules for visiting exhibitions

Dear visitors,

All persons who have accepted the Organiser's invitation to visit an exhibition or other event, as well as those who have registered as a visitor or purchased a ticket at the ticket office, are required to comply with the Rules for Visiting the Exhibitions and Non-Exhibition Events Organised by the Republican Unitary Enterprise National Exhibition Centre Belexpo (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) which are established to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all participants at the venue.

1. These Rules set out the visitor admission procedure for events (exhibitions, conferences, etc., hereinafter individually referred to as the Event) organised by the Republican Unitary Enterprise National Exhibition Centre BelExpo (hereinafter referred to as the Organiser), as well as set out the rules of conduct for the Event visitors.

2. By accepting the Event attendance conditions, the visitor gives his/her consent to the use of his/her image in photographs from the Event in information materials published by the Organiser.

3. The Organiser has the right to determine at its own discretion the price of entry tickets, the range of persons admitted to specialised exhibition events based on the event purpose.

4. Only persons with entrance tickets purchased at the ticket office, invitations, personal electronic tickets (when registering on the website) or those having a visitor's badge approved by the Organiser should be allowed entry.

5. Restrictions on admission of certain visitor categories may be applied on the business visit days to ensure the appropriate format of the Event.

6. The Organiser may request a supporting document to confirm the visitor's professional status: a power of attorney or an official letter issued by the organisation represented.

7. Media representatives should be issued the event badges after completing the accreditation procedure which is specified on the official website of the Event, or as may be otherwise determined by the Organiser.

 8. Free admission to the Event may be granted to students of specialised educational institutions on days determined by the Organiser. Such persons may only be admitted to the Event if accompanied by a representative of the educational institution and if included in the list signed by the administration of the higher education institution and previously approved by the Organiser.

 9. Visitors are not allowed to hand over their badge or personal invitation card to other persons. The Organiser reserves the right to check whether the name and surname indicated on the name badge (personal invitation card) correspond to the visitor's name and surname, for which purpose the person in charge of controlling the access to the Event shall have the right to request the visitor to present an identity document.

10. In case a visitor loses his/her name badge, he/she should contact the Event registration desk to have it restored.

11. Children under 12 years of age may attend the Events only if accompanied by an adult.

12. Visitors are required to observe public order within the Exhibition Venue where the Event is held and in the adjacent area, as well as to comply with the lawful instructions of the Organiser and the administration of the Exhibition Venue where the Event is held.

13. Visitors are not allowed to:

13.1. Bring any type of weapon to the venue;

13.2. Bring any explosives, flammable substances, pyrotechnic products of any kind, as well as poisonous, toxic and corrosive substances to the venue;

13.3 Bring and use alcoholic beverages, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances at the venue; be under the influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, or other intoxicating substances.

13.4. Bring any animals to the venue;

13.5. Carry out any trading without the Organiser's approval;

13.6. Travel around the venue on bicycles, scooters, roller skates and other personal mobility devices when attending the Event, except for persons for whom the use of such devices is a necessity;

13.7. Perform actions that may become a source of threat to the Organiser's property, Event participants' property or the Lessor's property, to the life or health of persons present at the venue, or cause obstructions or breaches in the security of the Event;

13.8. Leave the children without supervision;

13.9. Place writings or drawings, post or distribute printed materials, posters and other information or promotional materials, carry out propaganda activities without the Organiser's written consent;

13.10. Organise and hold unauthorised rallies, demonstrations and other unauthorised promotional activities at the venue;

13.11. Engage in begging, polluting and littering at the venue;

13.12. Carry luggage, objects or products that may make other visitors and exhibits dirty;

13.13. Smoke in the buildings and outdoor area of the Exhibition Centre where the Event is held, except for specially designated areas;

13.14. Attend business events in outdoor clothing.

 14. Visitors are required to immediately report any abandoned items or suspicious objects found at the venue to an Organiser's representative or Exhibition Centre (lessor) employee.

15. Visitors are required to familiarise themselves with the fire evacuation plan posted at the entrance of the Event venue.

16. In case of emergency at the venue, visitors must comply with the requirements of the Organiser's representatives or Exhibition Centre employees.

17. The Organiser shall bear no responsibility for the safekeeping of Visitors' personal items. In case of loss of personal items, you can ask the Organiser for assistance in finding them by the means available to the Organiser.

18. A visitor may be denied access to the Event without ticket refund in the following cases:

18.1 When refusing to pass the personal inspection when bringing oversized items into the exhibition, including presenting hand luggage and personal items for inspection;

18.2 When attempting to enter the Exhibition Centre where the Event is held bringing prohibited items, being under the influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues, or other intoxicating substances.

19. The Organiser's staff and the Event security service have the right to deny admission to and/or remove from the venue without compensation the following persons:

19.1. those who violate these Rules or who have been seen to do so before;

19.2. those who violate the recommendations on preventive measures to control the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19);

19.3. those who violate public order, behave aggressively and present, in the opinion of the Organiser, a potential danger to visitors, exhibitors, Event guests or to the safety of property located at the venue;

19.4. those who obstruct the movement of Event Visitors and Exhibitors, as well as if the obstruction is caused by the property of such persons;

19.5. those showing signs of alcohol or other intoxication; having antisocial appearance and/or wearing untidy clothes.

19.6. those who prevent the Organiser's employees and Event participants from performing their official duties.

20. In case a Visitor commits unlawful actions, the Visitor may be handed over to the representatives of law enforcement authorities in order to resolve the issue of bringing him/her to administrative or other responsibility in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

21. Any damage caused to the Organiser's property, Event participants' property or the exhibition centre's (lessor's) property is subject to compensation in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

22. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Rules, if necessary.
